- Rockhampton und Mackay (zum Arbeiten gut, ansonsten nicht zu empfehlen)
- Townsville (lovely, especially The Stand promenade and Castle Hill)

- Fraser Island (awesome!!!)
- Whitsundays (nice and beautiful)
- Magnetic Island (bei gutem Wetter einfach nur traumhaft)
- ein Haufen Aussichtspunkte: Lighthouse Walk in Byron Bay, Mt. Archer Lookout Rockhampton, Archers Lookout in Gayndah, Castle Hill in Townsville
